Day of Appointment

Day Of Appointment

Here are some of the more important things to know before coming in for your appiointment:

1. No heavy drinking prior to your appointment. Alcohol has a tendency to thin out your blood, dehydrate you, and can impact the healing of your tattoo. If you come in intoxicated or under the influence of any drugs, you will be turned away.

If you have used an inkbox temporary tattoo product. It is advised by the Inkbox company to not receive a permanent tattoo over their product. Your tattoo session will be rescheduled 1-2 weeks out to allow for the temporary tattoo to fully fade. The Inkbox company does sell a temporary tattoo remover solution to aid in speeding the process along.

2. Have your proper ID on you. This means any federally issued documents that contain your name, photo, and date of birth. Acceptable forms of ID include valid drivers license, passport , and passport ID card. Expired ID is unacceptable as well as school IDs, birth certificates and social security cards.

Anyone under the age of 18 will be denied even with parental consent. It is illegal in the state of NH to tattoo a minor. An updated driver’s license is required for clients who have recently turned 18. MINORS ARE NOT PERMITTED WITHIN THE SHOP. Due to liability purposes, we ask small children and anyone under the age of 18 please remain at home.

3. Bring a snack, water, comfy clothes and proper payment method for your tattoo. The shop does not have an on site ATM. Please be mindful of your personal hygiene before coming to be tattooed.

4. Please be mindful of how many additional guests you bring to your appointment. Space is limited, and no more than two additional guests, unless they are being tattooed, are recommended to be present.

5. If you have any surgeries scheduled with in a couple weeks of your tattoo appointment, you will need to reschedule your tattoo. This is non- negotiable. The artist is not accountable if this information is withheld, and as a result the client cannot be seen by their medical practitioner for their surgical procedure.

6. Please refrain from trying to fit any social events into the same day as your tattoo appointment. If anything, notify the artist at the time of booking of any events to prevent conflict. The tattoo appointment will be immediately cancelled or rescheduled if the artist feels the session will be prematurely interrupted.

Numbing Creams  —

Tattoos hurt and most would agree! We understand the need to make getting a tattoo more bareable during a long session. But how safe is your numbing cream? It is advised to read the warning labels of all products before use. Attached is an article of six numbing creams and a new warning issued to the public.

Replenish : Body Lotion

I really enjoyed this unscented, light weight lotion. It absorbs into the skin quickly, and is even great to use on areas of the body besides healing a tattoo. It does lock in moisture , promote anti -aging, and promotes healthy looking skin.

Replenish : Body Lotion

SPF 30, Soothing Gel & Tattoo Balm

I think this bundle is great, because it covers the fresh , healed and preservation stages of your tattoo. In most cases we all forget about preservation of our tattoo after it’s been healed for several years. These three products are a great addition to your tattoo after care process.

The soothing gel helps to smooth and heal
your skins natural barrier, while allowing your skin to breath free of petroleum while your tattoo heals. In most cases petroleum based products can suffocate your skin and tattoo.

The SPF 30 lotion. It is great for daily use, or on those overcast days.* As we all know the sun can be our tattoos worst enemy especially after such great financial investment. Make sure to make your ink look as good as the day you got it even years later.

Tattoo balm ! Comes in vanilla and lavender scents! A little goes a long way to keep your tattoo looking vibrant and moisturized. It does come in a stick as a variant option that is unscented.

***For beach days, it is best to use a much higher SPF rating such as 65 to 80 especially if sunbathing. Preserve your art! For lower SPF lotions , reapply frequently while at beach or social events with long sun exposure durations***
